On the occasion of World Cancer Day 2024, the organization hosted a special program at the Cancer Unit Hospital with the aim of spreading awareness about cancer, honoring cancer survivors, and encouraging society with a positive message. Many distinguished guests from social, religious, and medical fields were present at the event. The entire program reflected the spirit of humanity, service, and respect.
The event began with the presentation of a sacred portrait of Lord Mahakal to the Cancer Unit Hospital as a symbol of blessings and positivity. Along with this, under the initiative “Healing Through Mantras,” a sound system for the chanting of the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra was also donated to create a peaceful and spiritually uplifting environment for patients.
During the program, senior doctor of the Cancer Unit Hospital, Dr. C. M. Tripathi, was specially honored for his remarkable contribution to cancer treatment and social service. The organization appreciated the dedication and commitment shown by doctors and healthcare staff toward serving cancer patients.
Cancer survivors who had successfully battled the disease through the support and treatment provided by the organization were also honored during the event. This recognition celebrated their courage, determination, and positive outlook toward life. The moment became highly emotional and inspiring for everyone present. The survivors shared their experiences and conveyed the message that cancer can be defeated with timely treatment, strong willpower, and family support.
Honorable MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda also attended the program and addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of health awareness and early diagnosis. He appreciated the social initiatives carried out by the organization and assured continued support for cancer patients and awareness activities.
Organization President Shri Sunil Barod also spoke during the event and stated that the organization remains committed to social service and helping those in need. He expressed dedication toward continuing efforts in cancer awareness, patient support, and healthcare assistance. During the program, Shri Sunil Barod and Dr. Tripathi also discussed future plans and improved healthcare facilities for cancer patients.
