On the occasion of World Cancer Day 2022-23, a special awareness and social service program was organized by the institution with the aim of spreading awareness about cancer, supporting patients, and encouraging society toward better healthcare and early diagnosis. The event witnessed the presence of respected guests, medical professionals, social workers, and members of the organization who actively participated in the program.
During the event, Cancer Unit Hospital’s senior doctor Dr. C. M. Tripathi was honored for his remarkable contribution and dedication toward cancer treatment and patient care. The program also included an awareness session where Dr. Tripathi addressed the audience and explained the importance of timely diagnosis, prevention, and proper treatment of cancer. He encouraged people to adopt healthy lifestyles and spread awareness within society.
The institution’s President Shri Sunil Barod was also honored by the guests for his continuous efforts in social service and cancer patient support. The event reflected the collective commitment of society toward helping cancer patients and promoting healthcare awareness.
As part of the program, guests and members of the institution paid floral tribute to Maa Savitri Devi Phule, remembering her contribution toward social reform and education. The organization members also visited the Cancer Unit Hospital along with doctors and healthcare staff to understand patient needs and discuss future support initiatives.
The media interaction session was another important part of the event, where Organization President Shri Sunil Barod shared details about the awareness campaign and social activities conducted by the institution. He emphasized the importance of community participation in helping cancer patients and supporting healthcare initiatives.
To spread positivity and care among patients, members of the organization distributed fruits and essential items to patients admitted in the Cancer Unit Hospital.
